For years now,
museum display cases have graced the hallway of Rowe
Hall connecting the museum to the university’s Human
Relations Department. Recently dubbed the “Museum
Aisle,” that space now features changing displays of
recent museum acquisitions and rarely exhibited
collection objects in addition to the traditional
displays. Two recently donated, 9-foot tall grizzly
bear mounts and several examples of costumed dolls from
a collection representing 60 countries around the world
are currently highlighted. Also, a series of window
case displays provide information on the museum’s
programs and the Interdisciplinary Minor in Museum
Studies.
